Peer Review Process
Journal of Applied Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Technology (JACEIT) applies the following peer review process:
- Manuscripts submitted by authors are initially evaluated by the editorial team to check their suitability with the journal scope and template requirements. During this stage, editors may communicate with authors to ensure the manuscript is suitable for further review or may reject/decline the submission.
- Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to two reviewers for content evaluation using a blind review method.
- The review process considers several aspects, including originality, objectivity, methodology, scientific impact, conclusions, and references.
- Reviewers provide recommendations for improvement, acceptance, or rejection of the manuscript.
- The editor makes the final decision based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the journal’s standards.
- The decision of the Editor-in-Chief is final.
