About the Journal

The Journal of Applied Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Technology (JACEIT) is a scientific journal managed and published by the Indonesian Society of Applied Science (ISAS). ISAS is an association formed by a consortium of Research and Community Service Centers/Units of State Polytechnics across Indonesia. It is a legally recognized organization under the Decree of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia No. AHU-0011316.AH.01.07.Tahun 2019 dated November 8, 2019.

ISAS operates under the auspices of the Forum of Directors of State Polytechnics of Indonesia (FDPNI) and is actively engaged in research forums, community service activities, and scientific publications, including national and international seminars/conferences and scientific journals. In addition, ISAS is involved in collaboration initiatives and in enhancing the public image and development of polytechnic/vocational education institutions in Indonesia.

 

The Journal of Applied Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Technology (JACEIT) is a scientific journal with a scope covering various fields of civil engineering, including structural engineering, construction management, geotechnical engineering, hydrotechnics, advanced materials, surveying/geomatics/geographic information systems, environmental engineering, transportation, and infrastructure technology engineering.

JACEIT serves as a medium for disseminating ideas, research findings, and innovations in the application of management, engineering, and construction technology in civil infrastructure development, such as building construction, water/swamp/river/drainage/irrigation structures, road construction, bridge construction, and transportation engineering for water, air, and land transportation systems.

The Journal of Applied Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Technology (JACEIT) is published biannually in August and December. It is published by the Indonesia Society of Applied Science (ISAS) and is indexed in Google Scholar, GARUDA, ROAD, Crossref, WorldCat, OneSearch, Dimensions, and SINTA.

Based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 72/E/KPT/2024 concerning the accreditation ranking of scientific journals for Period I of 2024, JACEIT has been accredited at SINTA 4. JACEIT has the DOI: https://doi.org/10.52158/.

This journal is a collection of articles related to Civil Engineering Construction Technology and the application of scientific principles, particularly in the field of infrastructure. It covers building construction, water structures such as dams, weirs, reservoirs, irrigation and drainage systems, river and swamp structures, water and soil conservation structures, as well as transportation facilities including roads, highways, railways, bridges, airports, and ports.

In response to the development of the industrial revolution and international infrastructure, strategies such as Pre-Fabrication, Advanced Building Materials, 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing, Autonomous Construction, Augmented Reality & Visualization, Big Data & Predictive Analysis, Wireless Monitoring, Cloud & Real-Time Collaboration, 3D Scanning & Photogrammetry, and Building Information Modeling are required.

Therefore, the Journal of Applied Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Technology (JACEIT) serves as a platform for applied technological thinking and innovation derived from research conducted by lecturers, researchers, experts, industry practitioners, and educational laboratory personnel. It publishes scholarly manuscripts and acts as a record of multidisciplinary and collaborative research developments aimed at addressing the challenges posed by the industrial revolution and infrastructure development, particularly in the fields of Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Technology.
