Editorial Independence
Separation of editorial decisions from financial considerations
Editorial and peer-review decisions are independent of financial considerations. The ability or inability of an author to make a payment does not influence:
- initial editorial screening;
- reviewer selection;
- peer-review outcomes;
- revision decisions; or
- final publication decisions.

Transparency regarding future policy updates
If JAVICT introduces or changes any author charge in the future, the journal will publish the updated information transparently on the official journal website.
Any future fee policy should clearly state:
- the type and amount of the fee;
- the circumstances under which the fee applies;
