Publication Fee – JAVICT

The Journal on Advanced Vocational Information and Communication Technology (JAVICT) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal published by the Indonesian Society of Applied Science (ISAS). This page outlines the financial policy related to manuscript submission and publication in JAVICT.

1. General Policy

JAVICT is committed to providing high-quality open access publications in the field of vocational information and communication technology. Publication fees, if any, are used solely to support the editorial, production, and online hosting processes of the journal.

2. Submission Fee

Submission Fee: Currently, JAVICT does not charge a submission fee. Authors are not required to pay any fee at the time of manuscript submission.

3. Article Processing Charge (APC)

Article Processing Charge (APC): Currently, no APC is applied for accepted manuscripts. All accepted articles are published online in open access format without any publication fee for authors.

4. Waiver and Discount Policy

In the event that publication fees are applied in the future, JAVICT may consider fee waivers or discounts for authors who:

  • Come from institutions with limited research funding, or
  • Are corresponding authors from low- and lower-middle-income countries, or
  • Are invited authors for special issues or thematic sections.

Requests for waivers or discounts must be submitted in writing to the editorial office at the time of submission, including a brief justification. Decisions on waivers are made by the Editor-in-Chief and are final.

5. Other Charges

JAVICT does not charge any additional fees for color figures, supplementary files, or excess page length in the online version of the journal. Any optional printed copies, if requested, may incur separate printing and shipping costs, which will be communicated to authors in advance.

6. Payment Information (If Applicable)

If publication fees are applicable, detailed payment instructions (including bank account information, payment reference, and confirmation procedure) will be provided in the acceptance letter and on the journal website. Authors should ensure that all bank charges are borne by the sender so that the full invoiced amount is received by the journal.

For any questions related to publication fees, waivers, or payment procedures, authors may contact the Editorial Office – JAVICT through the OJS system or via the contact information provided on the journal website.
