Open Access Policy – JAVICT

The Journal on Advanced Vocational Information and Communication Technology (JAVICT) is committed to the principles of open access. All articles published in JAVICT are freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription fees or registration barriers.

1. Free and Immediate Access

JAVICT provides free and unrestricted access to all published content. Readers are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of articles without prior permission from the publisher or the authors.

2. Licensing Policy

Articles published in JAVICT are distributed under an open license that permits reuse, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited. Details regarding copyright and licensing can be found in the journal’s Copyright & License section.

3. Author Rights

Authors retain the copyright of their work while granting JAVICT the right of first publication. Authors are allowed to store, share, or archive the published version of their article in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other digital platforms, as long as proper attribution to the journal is provided.

4. Archiving Policy

JAVICT ensures long-term digital preservation of all published articles through its journal server. Authors are encouraged to deposit published articles in institutional or subject-based repositories (self-archiving), consistent with the journal’s open access mandate.

5. No Article Access Charges

JAVICT does not impose any access fees for readers. All full-text articles are available free of charge. Publication fees, if applicable, are detailed in the Publication Fee policy.

6. Compliance with Open Access Standards

JAVICT follows international standards for open access publishing and supports the principles of open knowledge dissemination to enhance global visibility and accessibility of vocational ICT research.
