Reference Management
Reference Management
The Journal of Applied Accounting (JAA) encourages authors to use reference management software to organize citations and bibliographic references accurately and consistently. Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote when preparing their manuscripts.
All citations and references must follow the referencing style required by the journal. Authors should ensure that every source cited in the manuscript appears in the reference list and that every entry in the reference list is cited in the text.
Authors are expected to use reliable, relevant, and preferably recent scholarly sources, including peer-reviewed journal articles, academic books, conference proceedings, and other credible publications related to the research topic. Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) or stable URLs should be included whenever available.
Before submitting a manuscript, authors should carefully check the accuracy and completeness of all references, including author names, publication years, article titles, journal names, volume and issue numbers, page ranges, and DOI information.
The use of reference management software helps improve citation consistency, reduce formatting errors, and maintain the academic integrity of submitted manuscripts.
