Electronic Filing
Electronic Filing
The Journal of Applied Accounting (JAA) implements an electronic filing and manuscript submission system through its online journal platform, Open Journal Systems (OJS). This system is designed to facilitate an efficient, transparent, and organized process for submitting, managing, reviewing, and publishing scholarly manuscripts.
Authors are required to submit their manuscripts electronically through the JAA website. To begin the submission process, authors must register for an account or log in to their existing account and follow the online submission instructions.
All submitted manuscripts must comply with the journal's author guidelines and submission preparation checklist. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are original, have not been published previously, and are not under consideration by another journal. Manuscripts must also be prepared in an accepted electronic file format, such as OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF, and must follow the journal's formatting and referencing requirements.
Through the electronic filing system, authors can provide the required manuscript information, upload their files, and monitor the progress of their submissions. The editorial team will conduct an initial screening before eligible manuscripts proceed to the peer-review process in accordance with JAA's editorial policies.
Authors are encouraged to ensure that all submission information is complete and accurate before finalizing their submissions. Any technical difficulties or questions regarding the electronic submission process may be directed to the journal's editorial team through the contact information provided on the official website.
