Abstract

Posture disorders in the spine are usually caused by several things such as sitting for too long, poor study position, inappropriate use of a backpack, inadequate study facilities (study tables and chairs), lack of physical activity and exercise, and genetic factors (heredity). Several causes of changes in the spinal curve are seen in Nur Rohim TPA children, where the majority of these children are in the wrong sitting position. Therefore, we took the initiative to provide education regarding the correct sitting position to prevent changes in posture in the children of TPA Nur Rohim. The form of this counseling is by providing material in the form of video presentations, evaluating activities based on the tests we give using leaflets containing a selection of images. Based on the counseling we conducted, there has been an increase in TPA children's understanding of correct sitting patterns to prevent changes in posture in the spine.
